The Halifax West Electoral District Association is pleased to announce that Mr. Fred Shuman was elected as our candidate by the membership on June 17th 2019.

Fred is a helicopter pilot and owner and general manager of a small business in Bedford. 

He is a long standing member of the Bedford Business Association and was awarded the Bedford Distinguished Volunteer of the Year award in 2016.

Fred resides in Bedford with his wife, Claudette.
